A safe place to land.
A community that cares.
The DROP offers a supportive day center, care, connection, and practical support for young adults in Forsyth County experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
Who We Are
The Drop is more than a day center — it’s a starting point for hope.
We are the only coordinated point of entry for young adults (ages 18–24) experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Forsyth County — and one of the few standalone drop-in centers in Georgia without a residential requirement.
Our team offers judgment-free, youth-centered, and trauma-informed support to help young adults find stability, reconnect with community, and move toward independence at their own pace.
Where Every Young Adult Finds Belonging and Support
We connect. We support. We equip.
At The Drop, we meet young adults where they are, not where we think they should be.
We tailor our support to fit the individual needs of our clients.
Whether seeking occasional check-ins or continuous, tailored guidance, we adapt our support to respect and honor their unique journey.
Basic Needs Support
Clients have access to our food pantry with supplies, hygiene products and transportation assistance.
Housing Barrier Support
We help young adults overcome barriers to stable housing through workshops and case management teaching landlord engagement, tenant skills, and financial literacy.
Referrals and Partnerships
We link clients with trusted community partners like Medical, Dental, Optical, Mental Health Services, and employment opportunities.
Life Skills and Coaching
From resume assistance and interview prep to life skills workshops our services are grounded in supporting individuals as they continue to build independence and take ownership of their goals.

At The DROP, we’re not just providing services,
we help build futures, together.
